This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why, how it is handled, and the rights you have over it. It is written to comply with the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Norwegian data-protection law.
Who is responsible for your data
This website (cdarkmoon.com) and its mailing list are operated by Kim Tapani Koskinen, an individual based in Norway, writing under the pen name CDarkmoon. For the purposes of the GDPR, Kim Tapani Koskinen is the data controller.

What data is collected, and why
Personal data is only collected when you choose to give it — there is no account system and no hidden tracking on this site.

Lawful basis
The lawful basis for sending you marketing emails is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given when you tick the consent box and confirm your subscription. You can withdraw that consent at any time — see Your rights below — and withdrawing it is as easy as giving it.
Who processes your data (third parties)
Your data is handled on my behalf by the following service providers (data processors), each under their own data-protection obligations:

Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA (for example in the United States). Where that happens, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing.
Cookies
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and sets no tracking cookies of its own. The embedded MailerLite signup form may set functional cookies necessary to operate the form (for example, to remember that you have already subscribed). If you do not interact with the signup form, no cookies are set.
How long your data is kept
Your name and email are kept for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask to be deleted, your data is removed from the active mailing list; a minimal suppression record (your email only) may be retained solely to ensure you are not contacted again.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data held about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased ("right to be forgotten");
- restrict or object to processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time; and
- unsubscribe from emails — every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
To exercise any of these, email info@cdarkmoon.com. If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.no).
